Datuk Dr Chiam Heng Keng, founder of the Executive Diploma, Bachelor and Master in Early Childhood Education at the University of Malaya, then the first of such programme to be offered in Malaysia. Her first batch of Early Childhood Education students graduated in year 2000, marking the beginning of professionalism in Early Child Care and Education in Malaysia. Currently she is the President of Early Childhood Care and Education Council Malaysia and has always been regarded as a well-known authority in child development and early childhood education.

Today, 20 June 2019, all top seven Harvest Queen (Unduk Ngadau) Sabah 2019 paid courtesy call to SIDMA College to sincerely convey their heartfelt thanks to SIDMA College Sabah and UNIRAZAK (University Tun Abdul Razak) for sponsoring them scholarship to further their studies. These top seven winners are Miss Francisca Ester Nain (Unduk Ngadau Sabah 2019 as well as Unduk Ngadau Karambunai); Miss Annette Rabecca Januin (Unduk Ngadau Pantai Manis, Papar); Miss Leticia Casianus Bansin (Unduk Ngadau Penampang); Miss Skye Judith Harding (Unduk Ngadau Tamparuli); Miss Conne Juenin (Unduk Ngadau Kundasang); Miss Nurul Yanadido (Unduk Ngadau Tandek) and Miss Vinny Alvionitta Sasising (Unduk Ngadau Klang Valley).

SIDMA College Sabah held a special Welcome Back cum Kaamatan (Harvest Festival) Celebration on 3 May 2019 at SIDMA College Main Atrium to greet and honour the returning of Universiti Tun Abdul Razak (UNIRAZAK) to revive, strengthen and form new partnership together, hand in hand, complementing and supplementing one another to fulfil the aspiration of the young generation of Sabah.

Prof Dr Morni Hj Kambrie, SIDMA College Founder and Chairman in his welcoming address acknowledged that SIDMA College Sabah, since its establishment in Kota Kinabalu in 2002, has been appointed as Sabah Regional Centre for Universiti Tun Abdul Razak (UNIRAZAK).
