Level of Study: 

The SIDMA College Diploma in Early Childhood Education program is designed to provide students with the necessary creative skills and practical knowledge as a competent Early Childhood Educator. Upon completion of the program, graduates will be equipped to apply their knowledge and understanding to design learning experiences that align with children's developmental needs. They will also possess the skills to establish, provide, and sustain safe, healthy, and nurturing environments that foster children's growth and learning. Furthermore, graduates will demonstrate unwavering professionalism by upholding values, attitudes, and ethical standards, and they will communicate effectively with children, colleagues, families, and the broader community. Additionally, they will employ problem-solving techniques, engage in self-reflection, utilize scientific methods, and promote creative thinking in their approach to caring for and educating young children. Graduates will adeptly source, select, and apply information to enhance early learning and personal development, all while showcasing essential managerial and entrepreneurial skills tailored to the unique demands of early childhood settings.

Entry Requirements

  • 3 credits at SPM/SPM(V) level, OR
  • Pass in SMA / SMU III (Indonesia) or High School Diploma (Philippines) or 3 passes at O-Level OR
  • Obtained a SIDMA Colege Certificate in Business Studies, OR
  • Any other equivalent qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government
  • Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) application must fulfil the following criteria;
    • 20 years and above in the year of application.
    • Possess relevant working experience / prior experiential learning
    • Pass the APEL Assessment for Diploma level
