Let us follow the generosity of the Messenger of Allah in the month Ramadan. Our Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) - the best role model for us is the most generous person, and his generosity was incredibly increased during the month Ramadan. This fact was told by Ibn ‘Abbas -may Allah be pleased with them both- as follows:

كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أجود الناس ، وكان أجود ما يكون في رمضان حين يلقاه جبريل ، وكان يلقاه في كل ليلة من رمضان فيُدارسه القرآن ، فالرسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أجودُ بالخير من الريح المرسَلة

“Allah’s Messenger was the most generous of all the people, and he used to reach the peak in generosity in the month of Ramadan when Jibril (Gabriel) met him. Jibril used to meet him every night of Ramadan to teach him the Qur’an. Allah’s Messenger was the most generous person, even more generous than the strong uncontrollable wind (in readiness and haste to do charitable deeds). Sahih al-Bukhari, Vol. 1, Book 1, Hadith 6

Meanwhile, according to Puan Noradilah Binti Mohamadia and Ustazah Rohaya Binti Ruslan, Secretariat of SIDMA College Ihya Ramadhan Committee, among others activities during Ramadhan are the daily Tadarus Al-Quran at Madrasah Jamiatul Fathi beginning 9.00 am throughout the month of Ramadhan. SIDMA staff, students and the general public are welcome to participate in this dairy event.

SIDMA College Islamic Students Club (GAMSIS) has also line up daily Tazkirah and Communal prayers for SIDMA College staff, students and the general public. The event is held at SIDMA Atrium. Majlis Berbuka Puasa for those who participate in the Tazkirah is held at Mus Kitchen and all are welcomed to join the Majlis Berbuka Puasa.
