Teachers’ Day is the day set aside to commemorate and honour the special work of teachers. It is celebrated throughout the world on different days. The World Teachers’ Day is celebrated on 5th October annually. Each of those days on which Teachers Day is celebrated has particular significance for the teaching profession for each of those countries.
SIDMA College Sabah, under the dynamic leadership of Prof Dr Morni Hj Kambrie (Chairman and Founder) and Madam Azizah Khalid Merican (CEO) enliven the spirit of 2019 Ramadhan with among other things, the distribution of packed spiced porridge or more popularly known as Ramadhan Porridge or in simple Bubur Lambuk daily.
SIDMA College Sabah held a special Welcome Back cum Kaamatan (Harvest Festival) Celebration on 3 May 2019 at SIDMA College Main Atrium to greet and honour the returning of Universiti Tun Abdul Razak (UNIRAZAK) to revive, strengthen and form new partnership together, hand in hand, complementing and supplementing one another to fulfil the aspiration of the young generation of Sabah.
Prof Dr Morni Hj Kambrie, SIDMA College Founder and Chairman in his welcoming address acknowledged that SIDMA College Sabah, since its establishment in Kota Kinabalu in 2002, has been appointed as Sabah Regional Centre for Universiti Tun Abdul Razak (UNIRAZAK).
